My 2018-2019 Fantasy Football Team

It’s that time of year again; the time where football fans around the world sit down at their computer screens and prepare their fantasy teams.

I, among others, LOVE fantasy football. It’s something that brings friends, family, coworkers, and others alike together to see who can manage a team better. Some play for money, others play for trophies; and hell, some even play for punishments, where the loser has to perform an embarrassing task like get a tattoo.

So this past Sunday, we had our draft for the season. It was a snake draft, and I had the 7th overall pick. It was not the greatest pick, since it was right in the middle of everyone. But I was able to make it work in the end.

For the 2018-2019 season, my lineup consists of;

  • QB: Matthew Stafford
  • RB: Dalvin Cook
  • RB: Alex Collins
  • WR: DeAndre Hopkins
  • WR: Devin Funchess
  • TE: Greg Olsen
  • FLEX: Sammy Watkins
  • D/ST: Patriots
  • K: Jake Elliot
  • Bench: QB Eli Manning
  • Bench: RB Ty Montgomery
  • Bench: RB Marlon Mack
  • Bench: RB Adrian Peterson
  • Bench: RB Peyton Barber
  • Bench: WR Allen Hurns
  • Bench: TE Austin Hooper

On paper, when looking at this lineup, I’m not really sure what to make of it. I mean, I have some great players on the team. But overall, nothing past Stafford and Hopkins really stand out to me. The rest of the roster really falls under the “we’ll have to wait and see” category.

What are your thoughts on my roster? Do you think your roster can stack up against mine? Let me know in the comments section below.
