Getting Into Sports Part 3: Football

Even though we are about eleven weeks into the season right now, it’s NEVER too late to start following this beautiful sport. It’s NEVER too late to tune in on Sunday, and take in a sport that MILLIONS of fans enjoy each and every weekend.

Some people aren’t really sure who to follow though. Some people get confused on who the proper team would be to keep track of.

Well, let’s visit this topic, shall we?

So like I’ve been stating, you could always follow the top team in the league. You could always follow the last champions so that you are on the up-and-up with the best squad in the league. That normally ends in your favor, right?

Welllllll, not always. Because in this case, the Philadelphia Eagles have been rather underwhelming to say the least. Through eleven weeks, Philly is currently third in the NFC East with a 4-6 record. Granted, the season is not over, and they could always “bounce back.” BUT, with what I’ve seen, I’m not so sure of that.

Now, where do we go from here?

To be quite honest, it’s hard to think of any team other than the Tennessee Titans. The Titans truly are the “building” team that I like to preach about. In fact, they are actually the PERFECT team for someone who’s new to football. Because before they started to perform well this season, some of the bigger football nuts out there didn’t even know who was on the roster.

(Hell, except for Mariota, Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis, and Coach Mike Vrabel, it’s tough for me to even think of another person on this squad.)

But, the Titans are currently 5-4, and taking the necessary steps to take this league by storm. I mean look at their season so far; they have key wins against the Patriots (34-10), the rising Texans (20-17) and the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles (26-23).

However, there are plenty of other teams that you could follow as well. From my Chicago Bears (even though I am trying my best to not play favorites with these articles), to the aforementioned Texans with Deshaun Watson at the helm. It’s your life, you can choose which team you want.

But if you want to see wins, while learning alot about the greatest game on earth, start watching Tennessee football.

But who are some of the teams that you are following right now? What team did you start to follow initially? Let me know in the comments section below!
