“Homegrown Drinking Hacks”

Do you have any "Homegrown Drinking Hacks?"

We’ve had this idea floating around our heads for some time now. Many, MANY people have said we should do it, and we agreed with them. However, we could never really put the pieces together. We could never really put together a reasonable series that would make sense to the rest of the world.

But now, I feel like that we have that series. Now, I feel like we have a direction for this series. And in this series, we want to see how you are changing the game of drinking.

What do I mean by that, you may ask? What does “changing the game of drinking” mean?

What we want to see from you are homemade, do-it-yourself inventions/innovations that help make your drinking more fun or easy. They can be anything from changes to a well-known drinking game, to homemade takes on popular products.

(Hell, be as creative as you want).

Submitting takes three easy steps:

  1. Everything has to be handmade. You can’t buy a product already invented and submit it. (We want ORIGINAL CONTENT. Use tape, rubber bands, etc…)
  2. If the brand of the beer, or any brands of any kind, are shown in your photo or video, we have the right to blur those out for the sake of protecting from trademark infringement.
  3. Send in your submission to our Twitter, @MWBarflyGazette, or email us at midwesternbarflysocial@gmail.com. (MUST BE 21 OR OVER TO SUBMIT)

Once all of those steps are taken, we’ll select our favorites and post them on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. So get out there and start making drinking BETTER!

When your submissions are sent in, you are agreeing that The Midwestern Barfly Gazette is allowed to post your photo in a blog post for our series with the ONLY alteration being any and all trademarked brand logos being blurred out.
