A Letter To The Toronto Raptors…

Dear Raptors,

Thank you for doing the unthinkable; slaying the giant known as the Golden State Warriors. Thank you for spoiling a historic run for the Warriors and not allowing them to bring home a title in their fifth consecutive Finals appearance. You made me believe again, and showed that there is hope for ALL teams.

I’m not even a member of your fanbase, but I’d still like to thank you for bringing a title back to your home, to your city…….to your COUNTRY! I love seeing teams who haven’t won before get the opportunity to hoist their first banner.

To Kawhi Leonard; thank you for helping to bring this title up north, while simultaneously still being you. This became your team, and I hope whatever “redemption” that you may have (if any) tastes as sweet as can be.

To the Raptors front office; thank you for BRINGING IN Kawhi Leonard through that crazy trade of yours. I was a MONUMENTAL critic of the deal when it happened, but I’m glad to say that I am wrong. I am HAPPY to say that it worked out just fine.

And to the entire Raptors fanbase, I understand this article might seem like I’m hopping on your team’s bandwagon; which I partly am. I am ECSTATIC that they took down the Warriors, and I will cheer for ANYONE who plays Golden State in the same manner. But I hope YOU have the biggest and best party this world has ever seen. If I had the chance, I would be there right now to celebrate with you.

Thanks again Raptors!
