My 2019 Fantasy Football Lineup

This year, I have three different teams in three different leagues for Fantasy. I think it’s fair to say that you, the readers, don’t want to read about EACH and EVERY player that I have drafted this year, now do you?

So to prevent that, I decided to just pick one of the teams out of a hat and call them the winner. This team, who’s name is yet to be determined, was drafted roughly a few weeks before the season started. Sadly enough, it was drafted before the news of Andrew Luck came about; and you’ll find out what I mean by that soon enough.

However, I truly feel like I have one of the best teams in the league this season. I truly believe that this squad has the opportunity to make a run for the championship this year. The question though is, what do you think?

STARTING LINEUP:

  • QB: Deshaun Watson
  • RB: Christian McCaffrey
  • RB: Kerryon Johnson
  • WR: T.Y. Hilton (see my point?)
  • WR: Kenny Golladay
  • TE: O.J. Howard
  • FLEX: Tyrell Williams
  • D/ST: Ravens
  • K: Adam Vinatieri

BENCH:

  • RB: Derrius Guice
  • TE: Jordan Reed
  • RB Matt Breida
  • WR: Devin Funchess (For Now)
  • WR: Mohamed Sanu
  • WR: Geronimo Allison
  • QB: Cam Newton

NOTES FROM WEEK 1:

-Christian McCaffrey had himself a DAY on Sunday! He had 128 yards on the ground and 81 receiving, with 2 scores! I mean, I know it’s only Week 1; but so far I am EXTREMELY happy that I picked him over Alvin Kamara.

-T.Y. Hilton had a pretty solid game with Jacoby Brissett throwing him the ball. I’m not going to lie; I thought that his numbers would suffer with a new quarterback at the helm. I bought into the hype of being “weary” about his production with Brissett throwing the ball. BUT, I stuck with T.Y.; and I’m glad I did.

-Tyrell Williams was probably my favorite part of my Week 1 win, if I’m being honest. After all of the Antonio Brown drama that has been happening; I thought that it would be a smart idea to take a chance on Williams to see what he could do. AND BOY DID IT PAY OFF!

What are your thoughts on my team? Are there any changes that I should make? And what do your lineups look like this year? Let me know in the comments section below, or on Twitter at @KShermanSports
